Two members of the Ursinus College men's lacrosse team were named to the second-team All-Centennial squad on Tuesday afternoon. Named to the team were sophomore defender Ryan Ridinger (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Township) and freshman goalkeeper Brian Neff (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata).

Freshman goalie Brian Neff (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) earned CC Defensive Player of the week for a second time. Neff made 31 saves in two wins, including 20 in the overtime win over Muhlenberg.

Sophomore attackman Mike Neal (Shelby Township, Mich./De La Salle) was named Centennial Conference Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Neal scored five goals and added an assist in the Bears 10-9 win over #18 ranked York College.

On 4/3/13, Ursinus Men's Lacrosse takes on visiting York College in a home night game @ 7pm. The team will be wearing yellow laces in support of childhood cancer in a partnership with Up 'til Dawn. "We would like to recognize all of the efforts of the St. Jude Research Hospital and encourage all members of the lacrosse community to both spread awareness and support for St. Jude's Hospital."

Goalie Brian Neff was named Centennial Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week in Week #3 of play for the 2013 season. Neff allowed just eight goals in two games for a 4.26 GAA. Made eight saves in a 7-6 win over Widener, then posted nine saves and allowed just two goals in the win over Richard Stockton.

Ursinus Men's Lacrosse team will open the 2013 season with practice on Friday, Feb. 1st. The team moved in to the locker room Wednesday to get set up in their Nike Team Apparel packages. Each player received: Winter Hat, Long and Short Sleeve Shooter Shirt, Sweatpants, Sweatshirt, Travel Polo, and Jacket.

The Bears open the season at home against Messiah on March 2nd @ 1pm.
