LOOKING TO BUILD on SUCCESS Padgett Announces, 2012 Zia Soccer Signees
Eastern New Mexico University’s Head Women’s soccer coach Todd Padgett has announced the signing of six highly talented student athletes to National Letters of Intent, to join the program for the 2012 season. “We are very excited with the caliber of player and person joining the program next season,” said Padgett. “All are model student-athletes who will continue the success of the Zia program in the classroom and greatly contribute to the overall strength and depth of the program for years to come.”
The 2012 class includes: Carolyn Armijo (CM, 5’ 5, Las Cruces, N.M. /Las Cruces HS/Rio Vista F.C Eagles), Danielle Caro (CM, 5’ 8, Denton, Texas /Guyer HS / Football Club ’94), Melissa Moxley (D, 5’ 6, Rio Rancho, N.M. /Rio Rancho HS / Rio Vista F.C. Showcase ’95), Haley VanSchaick (F, 5’ 5, Mesquite, Texas /North Mesquite HS / United ’94), Alyxandra Ortiz (GK, 5’10, Rio Rancho, N.M. / Cleveland HS /Sting NM West 94 Rhapsody) and Cristina Escobedo (GK, 5’9, El Paso, Texas / America HS / El Paso Sol)
